When The Music Stops Blog & Podcast: Mental Health in the Music Industry

Updated: Oct 21, 2023

Hello, dear readers, and welcome to the official premiere of the highly anticipated blog and podcast. I'm thrilled to have you here as we embark on a transformative experience together.

You know, for as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to create magic with creators. I've dreamt of providing a safe space for candid conversations about mental health. But, like many dreams, it had its moments of confusion and uncertainty. Then, something incredible happened. The music in my life became deafening, too loud to ignore. I was touring, homeschooling, teaching, creating, and yet, I felt like I was no longer truly connecting. I was on autopilot, and it took a series of profound changes in my personal life for me to see the path I needed to take.

And now, here we are, at the threshold of a new beginning. Welcome to 'When The Music Stops'. "When The Music Stops" is my blog & podcast show that was created from my viral Instagram segment called: Bring Mental Health To The Music Industry. To my surprise it went from local music artists to entertainment heavy-hitters in under 3 months. This platform is not your typical platform; it's a deep dive into the lives of the incredible individuals who make the music and content happen on the scene and behind the scenes. While I bring my expertise as a mental well-being expert and advocate to the table, the heart of this platform lies in uncovering the humanity behind the spotlight.

This blog and podcast is not just about me sharing tools and alternative practices to inspire you along your journey though that's certainly part of it. I want to deeply express how NONE of this is in no way medical advice nor should it be treated as such.

Now with that being said - What I'm most proud of is our ability to peel back the curtain on some truly remarkable individuals—people who I consider family in the entertainment industry. You see, they're not just artists or celebrities; they're people with their own stories, experiences, challenges, truths, and successes. Together, we'll explore their journeys, the lessons they've learned, and the moments that have shaped them.

So, get ready to dive deep, laugh, cry, and most importantly, connect. Because this space is about breaking down the walls and showcasing the humanity behind the spotlight.

Thank you for joining me on this adventure. I promise it's going to be an unforgettable ride. Stay tuned for our first interview where we'll delve into the heart of my guest's journey, and remember, when the music stops, the conversation begins.
